Join us for the 2024 In-Water Boat & Tech Show at Monroe Station!

Saturday, June 1: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.


This family-friendly FREE show will once again highlight the latest technology, style, design, and construction features available from various manufacturers of distinctive styles of power and sail yachts in the Great Lakes market. Representatives from the participating dealers and manufacturers will be present to answer questions and discuss the features of the vessels that are open for touring during all event hours. In addition, indoor exhibitors in the Monroe Station Main Dining Room will display new boating technology, electronics and accessories.

All members of the Chicago Yacht Club, power, sail, cruise or racer, are invited and encouraged to attend this exciting event. The Club also invites all boat owners with a slip or on a buoy in the Chicago harbors along with individuals interested in learning about membership at CYC. The dealers cull their databases of boat owners and prospects and interested parties to attend. Each year this event has resulted in many new members joining the Club.

2023's event drew almost 800 invitees who enjoyed touring more than 30 yachts from 13 participating dealers, free drinks and appetizers, live music, and indoor exhibits as well as a hands-on safe boating demonstration for the whole family. It was a perfect day with bright skies and warm weather. 

Live music will be part of the event both days! CYC's Chef Larry and the Club staff will serve complimentary hors d‘oeuvres and drinks to all attendees. We hope you enjoy this exciting event and your visit to the Club!

      The last event drew over 700 members and guests who enjoyed visiting with 13 dealers and over 35 boats. The fee for one slip this year will be $1,000. Additional slips may be available at an additional $500.00 each. As in previous years please feel free to invite your prospects and customers to this event. Remember that you can fit as many boats in a slip as you would like. Indoor display space is available at $100.00 for an 8'x8' booth space.

      We are happy to extend member pricing on all 2024 Spring & Summer Blinker ads for In-Water Boat & Tech Show Exhibitors that would like to advertise in the Chicago Yacht Club Blinker magazine! The Blinker provides advertisers with direct, exclusive access to nearly 2,000 members, club management, associates and guests of Chicago’s premier boating community. The Spring issue has bonus distribution at Chicago Yacht Club’s annual Belmont Opener, WOW Ladies' events, the Power & Sail In-Water Tech Show, and the Sailing World Regatta Series Chicago (formerly NOOD Regatta). The Summer issue, which is also the Race to Mackinac program, has a distribution of 4,000. Copies are given to the Mac sailors and are on display at both stations, Navy Pier for the Annual Parade of Boats, and on Mackinac Island, Michigan. In addition, all issues (as well as direct links to advertiser's websites) will be available online, adding 1,400 downloads on average per year.

      Is there a fee to exhibit indoors?
      Yes. $100 per table. Indoor exhibitors of relevant technologies will be displayed in the Monroe Main Dining Room.

      What company information is required?
      For the show directory: Company Name; Address; Contact Name; Website; Telephone.

      Where is the indoor exhibitor space?
      Main Dining Room, next to the docks.

      Will there be a table to use?
      Yes, one 8' x 24" skirted table with two chairs

      Recommended indoor exhibitor materials:
      Sales literature, Business Cards, Vertical Standing Banners, Laptop for Video Presentations. This is an informational show – products will not be sold at this event.

      What is the dress code/recommendation?
      Casual

      How long should I stay at the event?
      Friday, June 3rd from 3 - 9 p.m.
      Saturday, June 4th from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

      Exhibitor show material drop-off?
      Plan to arrive between 1 - 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 3rd at Monroe Station

      Unload show material at the front entrance of the Club.

      Is parking is available?
      Parking is available at SP+ Parking - Millennium Parking Garage, directly across Lake Shore Drive from the Chicago Yacht Club.

      The access is located on 5 South Columbus Drive, between East Randolph Street & East Monroe Street. For best access, park at the southeast corner of the garage, which is directly next to intersection of Monroe & Lake Shore Drive.

      Discounted parking tickets are available at the Chicago Yacht Club Front Desk.
