1st Chicago Yacht Club Annual Cruise Offshore Regatta to Racine

Please mark your calendar for the Chicago Yacht Club Annual Cruise to Racine on June 28 - 30. This will be the first running of an Offshore Regatta to be held in conjunction with the Club's Annual Cruise. This event combines the Power, Cruising Sail and Offshore Fleets as well as any other members interested. The destination will be Reefpoint Marina in Racine Wisconsin where a predicted log contest will be hosted by the Power Fleet. The Offshore Fleet will host a night race to Racine starting Friday night and open to racers and cruisers. Following finish there will be a number of club sponsored events to include; a Kringle tour, Racine's famous pastry, bike rides, and of course casual dining and bar hopping In the evening there will be an awards celebration and casual dinner at the Racine Yacht Club. The overall winner of the offshore race will be awarded the Hamilton Club Cup. By Saturday morning all fleets will be in Racine and a day of fun is planned culminating in a dinner Saturday night.
