Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
The Club is a dynamic and exciting place to work, hosting more than 700 social and boating events each year, including its signature Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac – one of the world’s best known yacht races. The Club is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join its F&B team, reporting to the Club’s F&B Director. The Manager will be responsible for scheduling personnel while maintaining labor cost, exceeding member service expectations in every dining room and closing the club operations most evenings. Will assist in our wine programs and regatta beverage management. Leadership and aptitude are necessary to schedule, train our new employees as well as inspire our tenured staff. This position serves as liaison between the dining room and our culinary team. Experience with boating and/or private clubs is a plus, as is experience with Clubsoft and Clubessential software. Food & Beverage Rotational Intern
This training program is to provide an all-encompassing knowledge of Food & Beverage operations. This includes a rotation between responsibilities in a la carte dining, banquets and event planning. At the completion of this program the intern will have a strong knowledge of the planning of events, their execution and a la carte operations. Serving food and beverage and aiding in event planning; leading to generating revenue, and maximizing profit within the service standards and policies established by the club leading to member satisfaction and zero complaint.
