Join us for our second Artist Series brunch and artist discussion featuring Chicago-based artists, Jennifer Cronin & Corey Hagelberg. Brunch and a Bloody Mary Bar will be provided from Beam Suntory.

11 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Brunch
12 - 1 p.m.: Reception
1 – 1:45 p.m.: Discussion

JENNIFER'S BIOGRAPHY:
Jennifer Cronin is a Chicago-based artist, born and raised in Oak Lawn, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she earned a dual BFA in painting and art education. As the capstone of her education, she studied painting at Camberwell College of Art in London, completing her education in 2009. Since then, Cronin has exhibited widely in the Chicago area, as well as nationally and internationally. She has had solo exhibitions at Elephant Room Gallery and 33 Contemporary Gallery, among other galleries. She has been featured in many publications, including New American Paintings, and has earned numerous awards for her work, including Best in Show at the Buchanan Center for the Arts show America: Now and Here juried by Eric Fischl. Most recently, Cronin has been awarded a grant from the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation to support the development of her upcoming series of work.

COREY'S BIOGRAPHY:
Corey Hagelberg (b.1983) was born in and has lived most of his life in Gary, Indiana. Heearned an undergraduate degree in sculpture and a graduate degree in printmaking from Ball State University and spent several years travelling around the country building public playgrounds in thirty states.

In 2012, Corey co-founded the non-profit organization, Calumet Artist Residency, with his partner, Kate. Centered in the Indiana Dunes, the residency aims to promote the arts and connect people, art and nature in the Calumet Region. Currently, Corey is an adjunct Professor at Indiana University Northwest College and maintains a studio practice focused on black and white woodcut and assemblage.
