Paula will show us a video presentation of her work along with a discussion on the origins of her NOWARTINDIA project. There will also be a display of the materials used to create the artwork along with a demonstration of how a silkscreen is made. NOWARTINDIA prints will be on display and available for sale on the second floor, please visit

to view the entire NOWARTINDIA gallery.
As an artist and printmaker, Paula Garrett-Ellis expresses her global journey through bold and meaningful contemporary prints made in her studios from Chicago and London to New Dehli, India.
Her work is vibrant in color, deep in meaning, reflective of culture and rich in texture. Paula spent many years teaching children about art which shows in the playfulness that can be seen throughout her work.
Dr. Alka Raghuvanshi wrote about Paula's work, "The appreciative 'gaze' of various cultural ethos reverberates in her work and creates patterns that are as unique as her experiences."
We invite you to explore Paula Garrett-Ellis’ beautiful prints with the Cruising Sail Fleet this Spring and hope you make plans to join us for dinner and a printmaking demonstration.
