Power Fleet Special Needs Cruise
Tuesday, June 18, 2019 11:00 AM
Call for volunteers with power boats for Special Needs Cruise!

Looking for a good cause? Join us as a volunteer for the Power Fleet Special Needs Cruise on Tuesday, June 18th from 11 am - 2 pm. (Rain Date Tuesday, June 25). This is great event benefiting adults with mental and physical disabilities. Any boat with a motor is welcome. Click here to watch news coverage from last year's cruise.

It is a Power Fleet tradition to invite guests for a lunch at Monroe Station and a ride on our power boats along the shoreline (from CYC to Museum campus to Navy Pier). The Chicago Fire department graciously scheduled a practice session for the Chicago fire boat “Christopher Wheatley” to shoot off its water cannons. If you are a captain with a power boat to offer, please contact event chair, Loren Wolf at [email protected] or call (312) 493-8523.

We expect 200 guests this year, for whom this is a very much anticipated and appreciated day. Our guests are coming with professional staff from their homes who will provide personal care, but we need your help with the on-the-water experience. If you are interested in chaperoning and helping out with the fulfilling event, please email Loren Wolf directly to [email protected].

Thank you!
