LIFE JACKET CLINIC
Sunday, December 9th | 2 - 4:30 p.m. | Monroe Station
Dear Sailors and Boaters alike,
As part of its efforts to enhance safety, the Chicago Yacht Club is putting together a series of seminars and clinics to educate boaters in the area.
Chicago Yacht Club held one of the first two day International Offshore Safety at Sea Hands on Training. Coaches Ralf Steitz and Jonathan Kabak took 30 sailors thru their paces on November 2 and 3rd and opened hands and eyes to on-the-water safety.
On Sunday, December 9th, Chicago Yacht Club's Monroe Station will host a Life Jacket Clinic from 2 - 4:30 p.m. The purpose of the clinic is to invite boaters in the area to bring in their life jacket, learn to repack, how and when to maintain, product recall updates, and when to replace. Join industry experts from Crowley's, Spinlock, Mustang, Absolute Indoor, Onyx and Crewsaver for hands on education.
U.S. Sailing offers an in-depth online
