The Offshore Fleet Committee is having a "Crew Finder Meet, Greet & Learn Too!" on Tuesday, August 1st at the Chicago Yacht Club's Monroe Station. The topic is "Winning The Mac!"

There will be a social hour from 7:00 to 8:00 pm with appetizers and a cash bar, and then an hour-long panel presentation of current and past Mac winners from 8:00 to 9:00 pm. Everyone is welcome, from any Club, on any Boat or anybody who wants to sail and learn! We will provide a casual atmosphere where Owners, Crew Members and Potential Crew members can gather, talk, exchange contact information and then stay for the presentation/panel discussion/Q&A of Mac Winners.

The whole point is to put crew and potential crew, beginners to advanced, together with boat owners to meet, exchange information and then learn from the best. This is open to all. Please invite anyone you know who may want to sail and who may need to find a boat to sail on. We purposely scheduled this immediately after the Mac so potential crew can find that perfect ride and owners can entice new crew.

Panel members are Commodore Greg Miarecki past three time winner on Providence, George Miz past winner on Zoom, Jim Mitchell from this year's Mackinac Cup winning boat TOA, and Rick Stearns helm of TOA.
