High School Program

High School Sailing

Chicago Yacht Club is proud to host one of the largest high school sailing programs in the Midwest district. Between the Sailing School's facilities located at Belmont Station and it's full and part-time coaches, the program has been able to grow to over 80 sailors. The Fall Season begins in Late August and continues through mid-November; the Spring Season starts in the beginning of March and runs through May. The program consists of 7 established high school teams: New Trier High School, Hinsdale Central High School, Walter Payton College Prep, St. Ignatius College Prep, Latin School of Chicago, Lycee Francais de Chicago and Rickover Naval Academy.
