Visiting the Club

Welcome to Chicago Yacht Club. Visiting Yachtsmen from reciprocal yacht clubs (50 miles away from CYC) should first contact the Club’s Front Desk at (312)861-7777 for assistance.

A Visiting Yachtsman is any individual whose residence, business, and yacht club address lies outside a 50-mile radius of Club facilities, does not own or charter a yacht moored within the Chicago Harbor System, and is a verified member of a yacht club that enjoys reciprocity with the Club. A Visiting Yachtsman is eligible for a guest card only once within the same calendar month. Guest cards for Visiting Yachtsman may be valid for a period not to exceed 3 days and 4 nights, or the number of days the Visiting Yachtsman is docked at the Club, which ever is less, unless special arrangements are made with management. An up-charge of 18% is applied to all food and beverage purchases made by guests of the Club. Slip rental is 3.25 a foot.

Please email your letter of introduction to frontdesk@chicagoyachtclub.org or fax it to (312)861-9351.

Belmont Station also has several cranes for moving, up to a four-ton vessel. Please ask for assistance from the Marine Superintendent to operate the crane for your safety.
