NATO Summit Information:
The NATO Summit will be held in Chicago at McCormick Place Sunday, May 20th and Monday, May 21st. There will be various road closures and marina/waterway restrictions to be aware of.
Road Closures
The Chicago Transit Authority has created a list of road closures and planned reroutes during the Summit weekend, with most of the closures occurring Saturday, May 19th through Monday, May 21st at 6 pm. Marina/Waterway Restrictions
The public will see an increased U.S. Coast Guard presence on the water during the NATO Summit. Monroe Harbor and CYC closures
For the safety of our members and employees, we have decided on the following security procedures for the club at the present time:
**Docking update (as of May 16th): Our docks at Monroe Street will close at 0600 on May 18th and will reopen at 0900 on May 22nd.
Monroe Street will be closed to all members starting on Friday, May 18th, and will reopen on Tuesday, May 22nd. During that time all food and beverage operations will be run out of the Belmont Station. During this period of the year, parking in the ‘boaters lot” is not restricted.
