Deadline for Request for Invitation has been extended to July 1, 2004

Dear Applicant:

Thank you for your interest in requesting an invitation to participate in the 2004 Independence Cup & North American Challenge Cup Regatta. The Chicago Yacht Club is excited to once again host the Independence Cup and North American Challenge Cup. We are looking forward to another successful and competitive event.

We ask that you thoroughly read and follow the instructions below to ensure a smooth process. Please also review paragraph 5.0 of the Notice and Conditions of Regatta in addition to this page before you prepare your invitation request. SPECIAL NOTE: Please do not attempt to paste a sailing resume into the "Notes" area. Significant weight in selection between competing applications will be based on sailing experience as properly entered in the Sailing Experience form.

Singlehanded Division Invitation Requests

• Click the link below and select "Singlehanded" as your Division first choice on the Request for Invitation form.
• Make a selection under Division Second Choice to indicate whether you would or would not like to be considered for the Doublehanded division.
• Complete information under the "Skipper" heading, including sailing experience.
• Completed information must be received by the Committee no later than July 1, 2004. Send no money at this time.
  

Doublehanded Division Invitation Requests

• Click the link below and select "Doublehanded" as your Division first choice on the Request for Invitation form.
• Make a selection under Division Second Choice to indicate whether you would or would not like to be considered for the Singlehanded division.
• Complete information under BOTH the "Skipper" AND "Crew" headings, including sailing experience
• If a crew wishes to request an invitation separately for the Singlehanded Division, he or she must indicate so by checking the "Please consider crew for Singlehanded also" box under the "Crew" heading. Likewise, all contact information must be complete and accurate for consideration.
• Completed information must be received by the Committee no later than July 1, 2004. Send no money at this time.

You will be notified via email, should your request be granted an invitation. When you receive your invitation package you should then complete the Entry Form and mail with the entry fee to be received by the Committee within seven days after receipt of your invitation package.

Any additional correspondence should be sent directly to the IC/NACC Committee c/o Chicago Yacht Club at 400 East Monroe Street, Chicago, Illinois 60603.
